Our Signature Programme
Story Craft is a stepped programme that nurtures young writers. Our specialised trainers teach students to identify key elements in literature, and to apply the same techniques. Students will master the use of plot, character, and other literary devices.
Story Craft gives children the tools to produce work of publishable quality.
Our Approach
We develop story writing skills through a combination of analysis and application. Rather than leave students with vague guidelines, we break down existing, successful texts and pinpoint the methods used by accomplished writers.
Through our carefully scaled programme, students are guided through a range of genre styles and themes. This makes them versatile and polished writers.

Our multi-faceted approach means our students are versatile. They can handle anything from short stories to scripts.
Grading
Writers are graded based on their ability to identify and apply the techniques they learn. The grading process is a practical method of monitoring progress.
Grading is based on progress comparisons and constructive criticism.
Proficiency Test for New Students
Students are grouped according to their proficiency levels, and not by age. Proficiency Tests will be done subtly, as part of class assignments. Writers of similar proficiency levels are grouped together.
Publishing Opportunities
Children who display talent in writing will be given an opportunity to have their books published.
